My neighbors used to send their two pitbulls into my property without leash. And they were ready to attack when I was outside gardening, years ago when I had a house! And they were trained to attack. I started praying and their owner commanded them to return and I saw their ears, as if obeying the command, turned straight.
Pitbulls, Rottweilers...wonderful experiences with both breeds...only last week some muppet decided to let is dog of the lead; a white pittie, came bounding up, I had no idea about the dogs intentions, the dog as it turns out was well behaved, and even cowered as I attempted to pat his head, one has to wonder about the poor dog.
The owner had deliberatley attempted to scare...he ignored my questions re. his actions.
Typlcal GS activity!
In 2019, ironically in the same town, I ventured off out, taking a route through a wooded area to get to some shops, on returning, I was confronted by a huge, snarling rottweiler, which would not allow me to move forward on the path. The dog belonged to a group of three, they refused to put the dog back on the lead. The older female, simply stated that the dog was alright, clearly not. What I did not appreciate at the time, was the younger male was filming the incident on his phone. He then loudly announced ..."she was shitting herself"..how nice..
Strangely prior to this, I noted the presence of a police car parked on en-route to shops, I would not be at all surprised if at his involvement.
I thought I'd share these experiences, there have been many more, I just did not understand back in 2019 what and why I was experiencing such incidents regularly, certainly not down to bad luck!
Well done Ciara, I sympathise! You did well to keep calm! and also to film the event!
